Warehousing & Storage
Secure, organized warehouse space in the African markets where your customers actually buy — not a sub-let corner of someone else's facility.
Inside Warehousing & Storage
- Dedicated shelf or pallet positions assigned per SKU
- Stock organized by velocity (fast movers near pack stations)
- Cycle counts and variance reporting on a recurring schedule
- Inbound condition checks with photo evidence on exceptions
- Secure access control, CCTV, and pest/temperature controls per market
- Real-time stock-on-hand visibility shared with the seller
The operational flow
- 1
Inbound booking
You share the inbound, the SKU list, and expected arrival. MFT schedules a receiving slot at the destination warehouse.
- 2
Receive & verify
Goods are checked against the packing list, counted, and photographed if any discrepancy is found.
- 3
Putaway
Each SKU is placed in a defined location based on velocity, size, and category — and added to your stock-on-hand view.
- 4
Steady state
Stock is held under access control with cycle counts, ready for pick & pack, delivery, or PUDO movement.
Coverage
MFT-managed warehouse space in eight African markets. Storage can run in a single market or across the network for cross-border sellers.
Who this fits
Online stores
DTC and marketplace sellers who need stock close to their buyers instead of running everything from home or a backroom.
Importers & distributors
Importers landing containers who want a counted, shelved holding point before stock moves to channels or partners.
Cross-border brands
Brands selling across East or West Africa who need stock split across cities on the same corridor.
Common questions
Where is my stock physically held?
In MFT-managed warehouse space in the country (or countries) you choose. Each SKU has a defined location on shelves, racks, or bulk floor depending on size and rotation.
Do you do cycle counts?
Yes. Stock is counted on intake and again on a recurring cycle. Variances are reported to the seller with the SKU, location, and the action MFT recommends.
Can I store fragile, regulated, or temperature-sensitive products?
Fragile and standard goods are supported across markets. Regulated categories (cosmetics, food, electronics with batteries) depend on country-specific clearance and warehouse certification — share product details in your quote.
How is storage priced?
By volume occupied (per cubic metre per month) plus an intake fee per inbound shipment. Volume is the only fair lever — you pay for the shelves you actually use.
