Inventory Intake & Stock Handling

The receiving discipline that everything else depends on. If intake is wrong, every pick downstream is wrong.

How it works

The operational flow

  1. 1

    Pre-advice

You share an inbound ASN — SKUs, quantities, expected arrival, and any handling notes.

  2. 2

    Receive

At the bay, cartons are checked, opened, and units are counted against the ASN.

  3. 3

    Verify

Any shortage, surplus, or damage is photographed and reported with a recommended action.

  4. 4

    Putaway

Verified stock is moved to its assigned location and added to your stock-on-hand view.

FAQ

Common questions

How do you handle shortages or damages on inbound?

Variances are caught at the receiving bay, photographed, and reported to the seller with the SKU, quantity, and action recommended (accept, return, claim).

Do you support serial or batch tracking?

Yes for categories where it matters — electronics, cosmetics, regulated goods. Share the requirement in your quote and MFT will scope the right capture at intake.

How long does intake take?

Standard inbounds are received the same business day and made pickable within 24 hours. Large containers are scheduled and processed against a published SLA.

Scope this for your stock

Add inventory intake & stock handling to your fulfillment plan.

Share product, volume, and target markets. MFT will quote it as part of a full fulfillment plan.
